Just as the iPad hit the stores earlier this week , the tech community has started ringing with trepidation about Apple's next big release: the fourth-generation iPhone, rumored for a summer announcement. This rumor is beleived to have originated from the South Korean local iPhone carrier KT Telecom. It is believed that undertaking of the new iPhone could arrive at the Korean company as early as April and may be officially available in June or July. A report from the Korea Times quoted and unnamed mobile executive claiming the iPhone 4G will have an OLED screen (organic light emitting diode) and support for video chat. The story also surprisingly claims that the iPhone 4G will also have a removable battery, but this has been a function that Apple has been reluctant to put in place for many of its products.

According to a quote from an analyst at Bloomberg/BusinessWeek the iPhone 4G will have a better camera than the iPhone 3GS. The iPhone's 4G camera could offer up to 5 megapixels, enabling it to compete with Google's Nexus One. The story also suggests that the iPhone 4G will have both a dual-core processor and an improved graphics chip. The ARM Cortex A9 is speculated to be responsible for this increase in performance. Also noted is the presence of a 'reflective, mirror-like surface' located above the speakers in the earpiece slot on the iPhone 4G.It is suspected to be a spot for a proximity sensor, relocated from the 3GS.

The rumor also speculates that Apple is working on an updated version of the iPhone OS with an overhauled App Store. This all seems quite conceivable, the OLED screen,a faster processor and a better camera, but the launch date does seem a bit outlandish as Apple usually refreshes their products in a yearly cycle. An iPhone launch ahead of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) would be something of a surprise, as Apple has consistently taken advantage of the conference to show off the forthcoming iPhone models and set the stage for their launches shortly after the conference.

Wireless Home Security System

By Ron King

A wireless home security system is 'the' new hi-tech way to make your home secure. In today's world, a person's security and safety has become a huge priority. Especially with crime rates increasing every day in most places around the world. If you happen to be among the fortunate few who live in a virtually crime free part of the planet, your need for such a system is probably extremely low.

However, that is not the case for the majority of people, living in most parts of the world. And, for them, wireless home security systems are a great way to remedy that situation. You might be pleased as well as shocked to know that many of the basic systems can be installed by yourself. You don't even need a high school diploma for it either! If you are lucky enough to find a color coded system, then your five year old could probably do it, although that's not exactly a suggestion!

A wireless home security system works exactly the same way as a normal security system. The key difference being, as you'd probably expect, it lacks wires! Not only will you save time on installation, but you'll miss out on all the inconvenience of having annoying wires spread all over the building.

There's an extensive range of apparatus available most everywhere, so you should find everything you need. For most people, the only downfall of a wireless system, is the cost. They will be more expensive than wired models. However, the manufacturers have made up for this in quality and ease of use. For most people, the trouble a wireless system avoids is usually well worth the extra money.

Because of the complications which generally arise from many of the wired systems, most people would consider hiring someone to do the job for them, which increases costs overall. A big plus, with regards to a wireless system, is their versatility. These systems can easily cover anything from your garage to your attic. Even the furthest point at the bottom of the garden! Wireless technology has advanced to such a point that it's even possible to have stream video, right across your security system, which means no delays.

So consider all the options open to you, when choosing your home security system, and you will save yourself a lot of time, effort and money. And that has to be almost as important as getting your home secured.
